It is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions prior to every booking and visit. By making a booking, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions on the website at the time of booking.

Liability

  1. No responsibility will be taken by the landowners or BBFF Limited for damage or injury sustained to property, individuals or animals whilst using The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit or The FUN Field, The Playground & Splash or anywhere on the Slyes Farm premises.
  2. The pool and all our areas are used at the owners and dogs own personal risk.
  3. Parking must be in the advised parking areas. Please only park in the correct area for your booking – Playground – gated area, Fun Field – gated area, Big Barn – opposite the entrance door, Sandpit – directly outside the area in large carpark.
  4. Exit on time and swiftly to allow for easy transition for the next booking.
  5. All vehicles are left entirely at their owners’ risk and the landowners accept no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred, accident or otherwise, whilst they are on the Slyes Farm premises.
  6. Any breakages or damage caused to The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit or The FUN Field, The Playground & Splash must be paid for by the hirer.
  7. We recommend that all dogs using The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit or The FUN Field are fully up to date with their inoculations. We recommend that your dogs are immunised and wormed. Please do not bring your dog’s when they are ill or have injuries or health complaints. Do not bring your dogs if they are coughing. We ask that you do not bring bitches in season to the BIG Barn.
  8. If any dogs that you are responsible for are not insured for 3rd party liability, please be aware that you will be personally liable for any accidents or injuries that the dog may cause, just as if you would be if it occurred in a public place.
  9. Owners are responsible for their dogs, themselves, and any minors AT ALL TIMES.
  10. You must be aged 18 to make a booking to use the areas.
  11. Children and dogs must be always kept under close supervision of an accompanying adult whilst on the premises in the interest of Health and Safety.
  12. All dogs and children must be always accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 whilst onsite.
  13. The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit and The FUN Field is situated on a working farm and as such there could be natural and agricultural hazards. Hazards you may encounter could include, but are not limited to, uneven ground, holes, moving tractors and other agricultural machinery, nails, glass, wood, wire, uneven ground, rabbit and other animal burrows, biting insects and thorns. Prevailing weather conditions could result in additional hazards.
  14. We advise that all persons using the area wear sensible clothing/shoes with non- slip soles, if possible, as the area around the Playground pool can become wet and slippery.
  15. Smoking, alcohol or drugs are not permitted in any of the areas, or anywhere on the premises.
  16. The behaviour, safety and welfare of all dogs using The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit or The FUN Field is entirely the owner’s/handler’s responsibility, just as it would be in a public place.
  17. Please drive at no more than 5mph into the premises as animals and humans are around. We reserve the right to stop anyone speeding and ask them to leave.
  18. The owners of do not organise and are not liable for any gatherings or events on the premises unless otherwise stated, nor will they be held liable for any incidents, accidents or injuries that may occur on the premises. Hirers use The BIG Barn and The FUN Field and The SAND Pit entirely at their own risk.
  19. A first aid kit is located by the shelf in each area.
  20. CCTV is in operation for safety.
  21. You must allow enough time to unload your dogs, use the facilities and get them back into your vehicles afterwards within your time slot. Your booked sessions include time taken parking, getting ready, use of the area and entering and exiting the session.
  22. Dogs must be kept in vehicles until the previous hirer has loaded their dog(s) back into their vehicles and exited the area.
  23. Dogs must be always kept on leads when transferring from the car to The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit or The FUN Field.
  24. The hirer must inspect The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit and The FUN Field on each visit to ensure that it is suitable for use by their dogs.
  25. The BIG Barn, The Sand Pit and The FUN Field must be vacated within the time slot booked.
  26. There are horses onsite and livestock in adjoining fields throughout the year, please do not book if this will be a problem for your dogs.
  27. Choke chains, prong collars and electronic devices are not allowed.
  28. Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical is not allowed.
  29. Dog trainers or behaviourists or working with their clients will only be allowed by prior arrangement and must provide evidence of their insurance prior to booking or on arrival.
  30. Professional dog walkers are welcomed by prior arrangement.
  31. Anyone hiring the premises for commercial purposes or on a professional can do so only with the owner’s permission.
  32. The hirer must bring their own poo bags and remove ALL dog’s waste. It is a strict requirement that you must pick up after your dogs. There are spare poo bags (in case they are forgotten only) and a bin in each area. There is a tap in each area if you need to wash your dog’s off.
  33. No litter is to be left in The BIG Barn, The Sand Pit or The FUN Field as this presents a risk to users and their dogs. Please use the bin provided.
  34. Any chewed or damaged dog toys must be removed and put in the bin.
  35. We inspect all areas and perimeters daily to maintain security but please notify us on 07802 964775 if you have any concerns.
  36. We do not take any responsibility for any dog escaping from The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit and The FUN Field.
  37. The BIG Barn and SAND Pit are sand based. Appropriate footwear is required.
  38. Children are welcome in The BIG Barn, The SAND Pit and The FUN Field and The Playground but must be always supervised by an adult.
  39. The ‘fun’ areas – obstacles, jumps, tyres, ramps etc., are designed and built to be used by dogs only. Children or adults must not use them. If caught using them, we reserve the right to end the booking.
  40. The owners will not take any responsibility for any injury to humans or animals caused by using said equipment.
